# Summary report format

> Column format for the entitlement summary report.

# Summary report format

The summary report groups entitlements by route, product, and status.

Use it to understand entitlement totals and status movement during the reporting period.

## Column format

| Column heading | Type | Description |
| - | -: | - |
| `EntitlementRouteId` | String | Unique identifier for the route |
| `ProductFamily` | String | Human-readable product description |
| `ProductKey` | String | Unique product identifier on the route |
| `Total Pending Entitlements` | Int | Total number of pending entitlements |
| `New Pending Entitlements in Current Period` | Int | Entitlements created during the reporting period that remained `PENDING` at the end of the period |
| `Total Active Entitlements` | Int | Total number of active entitlements, including `ACTIVE-ENDING` |
| `New Activations in Current Period` | Int | Entitlements activated during the reporting period |
| `Total Deactivations` | Int | Total number of terminated entitlements |
| `Total Deactivations in Current Period` | Int | Entitlements that became `CANCELLED` or `REVOKED` during the reporting period |
| `Total Failed Entitlements` | Int | Total number of create entitlement requests that failed |
| `Failed in Current Period` | Int | Create entitlement requests that failed during the reporting period |
| `A count of total Active + Total Pending Entitlements` | Int | Combined count of `PENDING` and `ACTIVE` entitlements |

## How to read the report

| Question | Column to use |
| - | - |
| How many entitlements are currently pending? | `Total Pending Entitlements` |
| How many pending entitlements were created in this period? | `New Pending Entitlements in Current Period` |
| How many entitlements are currently active? | `Total Active Entitlements` |
| How many activations happened in this period? | `New Activations in Current Period` |
| How many entitlements were terminated in this period? | `Total Deactivations in Current Period` |
| How many entitlement creation requests failed? | `Total Failed Entitlements` and `Failed in Current Period` |
