# API reference overview

> Full details of the Bango Payment Merchant API

This section contains full details of the Bango Payment API: all RESTful resources, their parameters, and all possible responses.

The same HTTPS web server and API endpoints are used for development, testing, and production. All Bango Payment API endpoints are below the base URL `https://api.bango.net/`. See [Bango Payment / Testing](/legacy/dcb-payments-v5/testing/index) to learn how to test your code against the API.

Every API request must comply with the requirements in [Bango Platform / Connectivity and security](/legacy/platform/connectivity/index). All request body parameters and responses are encoded as UTF-8 JSON objects.
