# Conversion

> What does "conversion" mean?

A subscription is **converted** if it changes from zero cost to non-zero cost.

The phase type doesn't matter: a change of phase from "Trial" to "Evergreen", for example, counts as a conversion only if the evergreen price is greater than zero.
