How Bango Music fits into testing
Bango Music acts as the Content Provider side of a two-party test:What you can test
Use Bango Music to validate the core subscription flow:- Discover the Bango Music Product and Offer configured for you.
- Create a Consumer Offer.
- Confirm DVM creates the related Entitlement.
- Retrieve activation information.
- Open the activation URL.
- Let Bango Music complete the simulated Content Provider activation.
- Confirm the Entitlement reaches the expected active state.
- Cancel the Consumer Offer and verify the resulting lifecycle state.
How activation works
For Bango Music, DVM returns activation information after the Consumer Offer and Entitlement have been created. Open the activation URL returned by DVM. Bango Music handles the test Content Provider side of the activation flow and DVM updates the Entitlement state as the flow completes. The quick start bundle provides the step-by-step API walkthrough for this flow.
Use your Sandbox configuration
Always use the Product, Offer, and identifiers returned by your current Sandbox configuration. Do not copy Product keys, merchant account keys, or other identifiers from legacy documentation. Those values belong to previous API models and may not match your current DVM setup. What Bango Music proves
Bango Music helps prove that your Reseller onboarding can interact correctly with DVM across the core subscription lifecycle. It does not prove the behavior of the intended live Content Provider partnership. Complete three-party testing in Sandbox to validate the partnership end to end.Run the Bango Music quick start
